WHERE

The festival takes place at Hurdal ecovillage. You will find yourselves close-to-nature and may enjoy the possibility of going cross-country skiing in the forest, skating at the lake or just taking a stroll in the winter-landscape around.

The urban village lies a 50 minutes’ drive from Oslo and 30 minutes’ drive from Oslo airport. It is easy to reach by train, plane, bus or car.

From Oslo and Oslo airport, you may take the train to “Eidsvoll verk” station, where we will arrange a bus that will take you to the festival area.

The classes will be held at the farmhouse of the village, with dance spaces with a nice, wooden floor, and an open fireplace.

Where
FOOD

Food is important for us. You will be served healthy, organic food that will keep you going through the whole festival. The meals will be suited for vegetarians.

If you want meals in addition to the communal meals, you may use the well-equipped kitchen to store and prepare your own food. We will serve you dinner at the first day of the festival, and breakfast and lunch the second day – it is all listed in the program.

Food and sleep
SLEEP

You will be accommodated in sleeping-rooms with four to ten beds in each room. There are bathrooms with shower, bathtub and toilets in the hall and downstairs there is a large kitchen, dancing spaces, living rooms and children’s playing area. Remember to bring your own towels and bed linen or sleeping bag.

SAUNA

We will heat up the wood-fired sauna – giving you an opportunity to relax and enjoy the heat.

You can chill down in one of the showers, or roll yourself around in the snow outside - as the ancient Vikings did.
